S'pore actors Chen Shucheng, Richard Low & Zhu Houren launch TikTok account 'The OG Gang'

Three Singaporean veteran actors have teamed up to launch their TikTok account The OG Gang.

Chen Shucheng, 75, Richard Low, 72, and Zhu Houren, 70, uploaded their first TikTok post on Saturday (Feb. 22) with the caption: "Name us a more iconic trio".

"Let's TikTok!"

The three did a skit where Low stuck out his foot, almost tripping Zhu.

Chen then entered the scene, alerted Zhu to the danger, and prevented the situation from escalating into a fight.

"Don't be like this, harmony brings wealth," Chen said.

The three reconciled and Chen remarked on how rare it was for the three of them to be at the same location.

The trio then turned to the camera and said: "Let's TikTok!"

Most unforgettable memories on set

The trio has uploaded two more posts on their TikTok page.

The three actors also shared some of their most unforgettable memories on set in their second video.

Chen shared how he did not know how to gamble before filming the popular dramas "The Unbeatables" and "The Unbeatables II".

He said he learnt how to buy lottery tickets after playing gambler Yan Kun in the series.

"There is no age limit"

For Low, it was the 2015 Mediacorp drama "Super Senior", in which the three actors acted as seniors who go for a scuba diving trip to spend their remaining days meaningfully and escape from the harsh realities of life.

"We were over 200 years old combined, [but] we still went to learn scuba diving," said Low.

"There is no age limit," said Low.

Low added that he developed an interest in scuba diving after filming the show and earned an Advanced Certificate for Scuba Diving.

Chen then said he clinched a commercial deal after learning how to scuba dive.
