Short thundery showers on most days in S'pore in 1st half of Mar. 2025
Short duration rain is better than no rain.

Enjoyed the rain over the last two weeks?
Here is some good news.
Thundery showers are expected over parts of Singapore on most afternoons in the first fortnight of March 2025, said Meteorological Service Singapore in a Feb. 28 media advisory.
The showers are expected to be mostly of short duration, but may extend into the evening on occasion.
The total rainfall for the first half of March is forecast to be above average over most parts of the island.
Most days still hot
Despite the rain, most days in the upcoming fortnight will still likely be warm.
The daily maximum temperatures are likely to range between 33°C and 34°C on most days and exceed 34°C slightly on a few days.
Daily max temperatures below 34°C on most days in 2nd half of February
The weather forecast for the first fortnight of March 2025 is similar to weather conditions observed in the second half of February.
Over the last two weeks, thundery showers fell over parts of Singapore on some afternoons.
On a few days, the showers extended into the evening.
As a result, most parts of Singapore recorded above average rainfall in the second half of February, with Mandai registering a rainfall of 82 per cent above average.
Daily maximum temperatures also fell below 34°C on most days over the last two weeks, with the highest daily maximum temperatures of 34.2°C recorded at Clementi on Feb. 17 and Jurong West on Feb. 22.
