Man shouts at woman over his reclined seat on Cathay Pacific flight from S'pore to Hong Kong: 'Can I adjust my seat or not?'
A Cathay Pacific flight from Singapore to Hong Kong on Feb. 1 descended into chaos when a furious male passenger got angry and shouted at a female passenger behind him who requested that he adjusted his reclined seat.
The exchange, which saw the man shout and gesticulate repeatedly at the woman, was caught on camera by a fellow traveller, who was also on board the four-hour flight.
The video has been reported on by multiple media.
According to Daily Mail, the incident unfolded on Cathay Pacific flight CX690 when the man apparently fully reclined his seat, while his two-year-old daughter ran amok in the cabin, disturbing other travellers.
When the woman behind him allegedly requested that he put his seat back into the upright position, he snapped, which sparked the heated dispute.
Despite the escalating conflict, a cabin crew appeared frozen and made no attempt to defuse the bizarre situation.

The man shouted: "Can I adjust my seat or not? Is it in the rules? Shut your goddamn mouth!"
Stunned passengers and a person who appeared to be a flight crew looked on without interfering.
The man’s tirade continued: “When you shouted at my kid, I didn't respond, but you said I adjust the seat. It's not possible, it's your f***ing problem.”
After his outburst, he abruptly ended the confrontation, putting on his headphones and settling back into his seat.
However, a woman, who appeared to be with him, carried on the argument with the passenger behind.
