2 injured after Jalan Kayu traffic collision involving car & motorcycle
Police investigations are ongoing.
A male motorcyclist and female pillion, both 38, were injured after a traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a car at the junction of Jalan Kayu and Sengkang West Way.
The incident occurred at about 5:35pm on Feb. 6, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and Singapore Police Force (SPF) told Mothership.
The injured were conveyed to Sengkang General Hospital by the SCDF.
A 72-year-old male car driver is assisting with investigations.
Police investigations are ongoing.
Photos posted on Singapore road accidents Facebook page showed a woman sitting on the floor as five others stood nearby.
A motorcycle can be lying on its side nearby.
There did not appear to be anyone that was seriously injured in the photos.
Similar accident a week prior
A netizen commented that the road may be more prone to accidents, citing an accident that just occurred a week prior in the same area on Jan. 28.
A video posted on the same Facebook page showed an accident involving two cars and a motorcycle at around 1:50pm that day.
A 50-year-old male motorcyclist, a 40-year-old female motorcycle pillion, and a 34-year-old female car passenger were taken to the hospital, according to the police.
