A hard-fought match
Reflecting on the match, Teh mentioned that he struggled with "unforced errors" during a tense 18-18 moment in the third set as he was rushing, but managed to reset and regain focus in the game.
He credited his coaches, Vega Nirwanda and Kim Jihyun, for their guidance throughout the tournament.

Teh, the fourth seed at the Super 300 tournament, reached a career-high world ranking of 30 earlier this week.
He is now Singapore’s second-highest-ranked men's singles player, following Loh Kean Yew, who is ranked 11th.
In January 2025, Teh reached the quarter-finals of the Indonesia Masters, where he upset Japan’s world number nine, Kodai Naraoka.
