3 weeks jail for husband, 36, & wife, 31, who livestreamed sex act at Boon Lay void deck
They requested for a gag order on their identities, but the judge refused.

A husband kept a lookout for his wife who livestreamed sex acts on TikTok from a public housing void deck in Boon Lay for around two hours in broad daylight.
The public spotted the duo and called the police.
The man Adrian Ching Kah Siang, 36, and the woman Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan, 31, were each given three weeks' jail on Feb. 20, CNA and The Straits Times reported.
Ching, a Singaporean, pleaded guilty to abetting Nguyen, a Vietnamese national, who pleaded guilty to one count of performing an obscene act in public.
One charge, related to the woman appearing nude in public, was taken into consideration during each of their sentencing.
Asked for gag order on their identities
Ching asked the judge for a gag order on his and his wife's identities, but the judge said no, ST reported.
The man said it was to prevent hurting his mother and to protect his "wife's dignity".
The husband and wife stood together in court and were not represented by a lawyer, ST added.
About the case
Nguyen had entered Singapore under a social visit pass, which has since expired.
She does live videos on TikTok and Vietnamese gaming app MMlive.
On Sept 27, 2024, from 11:30am to 2:30pm, she was livestreaming at the void deck of Block 266 Boon Lay Drive.
At around 1:30pm, she participated in a challenge that involved performing sex acts in public while dressed in revealing clothing.
She did it in exchange for money.
Viewers could send her gifts via the streaming applications.
Nguyen wore a translucent dress, posed, and danced in front of a mobile phone.
Spotted by man living in block
A man who lives in the block of flats saw her and informed his wife, who called the police.
The duo who witnessed the scene went together to the second floor of the block and saw Nguyen wearing a revealing kimono.
Nguyen then performed the sex act.
Police arrested her after arriving at the scene.
Initially denied actions
Nguyen initially told police she had revealed “only a bit”, the prosecution said, according to CNA.
She only admitted to the obscene act when presented with the footage.
Ching also denied everything and said his wife’s sex act should not be considered an obscene act while clothed and that she had exposed herself by accident, CNA also reported.
The deputy public prosecutor said the couple were at an area used by many people, including children.
Speaking through an interpreter, Nguyen said she is facing financial difficulties and has to support her 13-year-old daughter in Vietnam.
She is currently in Singapore on a special pass while under investigation.
Ching apologised to the court and the people of Singapore, CNA reported.
