The airline is looking to ramp up its recruitment efforts in Singapore to keep pace with the rising demand and is seeking experienced commercial pilots, said Emirates in a press release on Feb. 19.

Experienced pilots who wish to join Emirates can attend one of the three sessions at the roadshow.

There will be two sessions on Mar. 4 at 1pm and 6pm and one on Mar. 5 at 10am. Prior registration is not required.

"We have channelled significant investments into our training facilities for pilots, ensuring they receive the best-in-class training with cutting-edge technology. They will also have the opportunity to live in the vibrant city of Dubai," said Emirates' Country Manager of Singapore and Brunei, Rashed Alfajeer.

The benefits

According to Emirates, they offer their pilots and families competitive tax-free salaries, 42 days of annual leave, allowance for accommodation and education, full medical benefits, discounted travel benefits for friends and family and more.

All Emirates pilots are based in Dubai and will reside in company accommodation in a three or four-bedroom villa.

These villas are located in various Emirates Group properties across Dubai.

Emirates will also cover the utilities and municipality taxes if employees live in company accommodation.

"We look forward to welcoming more pilots from Singapore to join us in the cockpit," Rashed added.

Currently, Emirates employs 32 Singaporean pilots.
