Alleged election-related scam in S'pore tells victims their names were removed from Register of Electors & to click on button to 'restore' it
Don't fall for it.

An alleged election-related scam is circulating on chat messaging platforms, warning victims that their names have been removed from the Registers of Electors.
The scam then apparently requests victims to click a button to restore their names to the list.
The circulating image warns against this apparent scam.
The Elections Department Singapore (ELD) clarified that the warning did not come from ELD.
They added that this same image was circulated during the Singapore Presidential Elections in 2023 and recently in 2024.
ELD advised voters to ascertain their voting status directly via ELD’s Voter Services page at ELD’s official website (www.eld.gov.sg) or the Singpass app.
Emails from ELD or messages from government officials will come from email addresses ending with “@eld.gov.sg” or with the “gov.sg” Sender ID (all letters in lowercase) respectively.
Anyone with scam-related information should call the Police Hotline at 1800-255-0000.
