A two-year-old girl was allegedly hit by a food delivery rider on an e-bike on Feb. 9.

She had been standing at the corner of a shared path at Yishun Avenue 2 when she was knocked down, reported Stomp.

She reportedly suffered injuries to her head, body, and leg.

A child could also be heard screaming and sobbing in a video of the incident.

Photos shared by the Stomp reader showed redness and bruising on the child's body, cuts on her scalp and neck, and abrasions.

The reader alleged that when confronted, the man did not apologise.

A video of the confrontation was subsequently uploaded on social media.

The man also apparently refused to allow the girl's mother to take photos of his e-bike's registration number, or to provide his contact details.

"He said he was not afraid if we report him to the police... he went off, saying it was a waste of time," the reader said.

In response to Mothership's queries, the Singapore Police Force confirmed that a report was lodged.

Police investigations are ongoing.
