Mistaken for same person
The duo, are based in China, were flying to Beijing when they were stopped at customs.
The customs officials mistakenly believed that the same person had entered the country twice, as they were unable to tell the twins apart.

The pair were detained at the airport for two hours and shared their frustration in a video posted on Weibo.
Turned to the internet to vent
They revealed, "We kept repeating 'I want to go home' 10,000 times in our hearts," while also discussing the "psychological trauma" they experienced during the ordeal.
In the video, they even lamented, "Being twins is hard".

Miko appeared exasperated in the clip, explaining:
“We’ve been waiting for over an hour. Why is this taking so long? They couldn’t tell us apart. They thought I was the same person entering the country twice, not knowing I’m a twin."
Yumi added that a customs officer even asked her if she had additional passports, prompting her to wonder, “What [do they mean] other passports?”
The incident sparked amusement online, with netizens commenting, “How embarrassing, the facial recognition system couldn’t handle twins,” and “How could this even happen?”
Some, however, pointed out that the two sisters seem to look less alike now and expressed confusion over the mix-up.
