The real estate properties linked to the S$3 billion money laundering case in Singapore will be auctioned off from Sep. 17, 2026.
Deloitte Singapore said in a Aug. 29 press release that the Singapore Police Force appointed it to manage and realise the non-cash assets forfeited in connection with the money laundering case in July 2025.
Public auctions of these non-cash assets, comprising more than 80 real estate properties and over 1,000 luxury items, such as jewellery, watches and handbags, will commence from Sep. 7.
Auctions of real estate properties will be conducted by SRI Pte Ltd, Edmund Tie & Company (SEA) Pte Ltd, and Knight Frank Pte Ltd.
Real-estate property auctions
According to The Straits Times, the auctions for nine of the properties involved in the money laundering case will be held on Sep. 23 at Edmund Tie & Company’s UIC Building office.
Five units at South Beach Residences, including a penthouse on the 42nd floor spanning over 6,700 sq ft, will be auctioned with guide prices between S$4.45 million and S$25.3 million.
Two units at 8 Saint Thomas, located in River Valley, will be auctioned with guide prices between S$4.4 million and S$5.7 million.
One unit at Paterson Suites, located in Orchard, has a guide price of S$5.2 million.
An office space at Shun Li Industrial Park, located in Kaki Bukit, has a guide price of S$3.6 million.
The auctions for seven properties involved in the money laundering case will be held on Sep. 17 at Knight Frank’s Ocean Financial Centre office.
Four units at Gramercy Park will be auctioned with guide prices between S$3.8 million and S$7.6 million.
Two units at Sloane Residences have guide prices between S$3.6 million and S$3.7 million.
One 3,498 sq ft office space at Suntec Tower One has a guide price of S$11.5 million.
According to CNA, the auctions for 10 of the properties involved in the money laundering case will be held on Sep. 23 at 2:30pm at SRI’s Great World City office.
Four units at Wallich Residence, located in the Central Business District, will be auctioned with guide prices between S$4.42 million and S$6.78 million.
Six units at Martin Modern, located in River Valley, with guide prices between S$2.23 million and S$4.98 million.
Phases
The assets will be put up for sale in phases between September 2026 and mid-2027 and will be open to public bidding.
The composition and number of assets in each phase are still being finalised and may change as ongoing authentication and preparatory processes are completed.
Hotlotz Pte Ltd will conduct the luxury goods auction.
Outside the auction process, List International Realty Pte Ltd will offer certain selected properties for sale via an expression of interest process.
