In a statement to the press, Zamzuri said that the police had acted on videos uploaded to Facebook showing three motorcycles in total, two Honda EX5s and a Yamaha 135LC FI, performing stunts on the road.
The incidents were believed to have taken place between 2am and 2:30am on Jun. 6 and 7.
In total, four men were recorded performing wheelies.
One of them, riding a Honda EX5, fell off while performing a wheelie and crashed, 8world reported.
Zamzuri said that the suspects were arrested under the Road Transport Act 1987 for "riding recklessly and dangerously, endangering other road users and themselves".
"We advise the public not to participate in any form of street gang activity, including wheelie stunts, as such actions not only endanger the individuals involved but also pose a threat to the safety of other road users," he added, according to The Star.
