Hong Kong actress Karena Ng and third-generation billionaire heir husband Brian Sze gave a rare look into their new four-storey mansion.

Since marrying in 2023, the couple sat down with Architectural Digest China (AD China) for a walkthrough of their home for the very first time.

The interior

In AD China's Instagram feature, they highlighted that the home was designed as a sanctuary to feel calm and relaxed.

Filled with windows that let sunlight in and the scent of fresh nature, Ng had a close hand in designing the home.

Although there is no strict style they followed, AD China noted a "subtle Tuscan ease", reminiscent of their wedding that was held in the Italian town.

In the living room, Ng said that she wanted to keep the space open and comfortable for entertaining, opting for warm white walls paired with dark furniture.

For guests, she chose two lounge chairs and a custom-designed pink sofa that mimics a warm embrace.

A painting by artist Jack Penny is placed above the sofa.

Ng joked that she chose the painting for its similarity to her husband.

The archway connecting the kitchen to the living room is crafted from Brèche de Benou marble, a rare stone from France with a unique colouration and texture.

As the primary chef of the household, she paid special attention to the kitchen layout.

In the western-style kitchen, she chose brass hardware and an island made of Brazilian Taj Mahal quartzite. She hopes that as time passes, the hardware will develop a natural patina, adding a lived-in, soulful vibe to the home.

The Chinese-style kitchen is fully equipped with a suite of German Miele appliances, from a built-in coffee maker and oven to a microwave.

In the dining room, she chose to equip her dining table with multiples of The Red Chair, designed by her personal favourite and renowned Danish architect and furniture designer.

Ng also showcased her master bedroom, bathroom, and walk-in closet.

The biggest reason why they had moved into this home was the private garden.

As they have two dogs, they wanted to give them more space to run around.

Additionally, it brought her a sense of relief to have an outdoor space to unwind.

"Coming home to this, all the stress of the day melts away."
