Buangkok accident: Van driver, 32, taken to hospital, car driver, 45, arrested for dangerous driving

A van flipped on its side after an accident with a car in Buangkok on Jun. 4.
In response to Mothership’s queries, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and Singapore Police Force (SPF) said they were alerted to a road traffic accident at the junction of Buangkok Green, Buangkok Link, and Hougang Street 93 at around 12:05pm on Thursday.
A 32-year-old male van driver was conveyed to Sengkang General Hospital.
The SCDF said another person was assessed for minor injuries, and declined to be sent to the hospital.
The police added that a 45-year-old male car driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing hurt.
A video of the accident was posted to SG Road Vigilante's Facebook page, where the van could be seen travelling from Hougang Street 93 to Buangkok Link.

Car collides with van
In the video, the van could be travelling towards Buangkok Link as the traffic light turned red.
A black car driving straight at the Junction along Buangkok Green crashed into the left side of the van at the junction.
The van landed on its side after the collision.
Debris was strewn across the road.
The bonnet of the car was dented.
