Man, 29, lies down on Grange Road to become road hump

A 29-year-old man was seen lying down on Grange Road in Tanglin.

In a video posted on Facebook, the bizarre occurrence apparently took place on May 12 at about 12:28pm.

The man, who was bespectacled, was wearing a grey tank top and dark blue shorts.

He was also seen wearing a cast on his left arm.

As the car approached him and slowed down, the man appeared to glare at it.

He proceeded to lie down on the road for approximately 8 seconds.

He then got up and walked towards the sidewalk.

As the car accelerated, the man stepped down from the sidewalk to walk in front of the car before disappearing out of view.

The vehicle then resumed its journey.

Responses

Commenters were amused by the man's antics.

Some theorised that the man got up as the road was too hot, while some were concerned about his mental well-being.

In response to queries, the police said a 29-year-old man was apprehended under the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) Act.
