Man allegedly breaks into Korean actress' house, assaults her & demands money

A man in his 40's allegedly broke into the home of Korean actress, Kim Gyu-ri, on May 20 at 9pm.

He allegedly assaulted 46-year-old Kim, and another woman who was in the house.

He also demanded money.

According to Korean media, the two suffered fractures and bruising from the ordeal.

They managed to escape while the suspect was distracted.

Korean media reported that the two had run barefoot out in the rain and approached a stall owner for help.

The suspect turned himself in about three hours after the incident.

Officials said the suspect is not acquainted with Kim and the woman, and police are still investigating his motive.
