Taiwan couple have sex at national park, unaware they were being livestreamed, police summons man for questioning

A couple was caught on livestream engaging in sexual acts in a Taiwanese national park.

Yangmingshan National Park has a 24-hour livestream on its YouTube page.

According to Taiwan media, this is so animal watchers can tune in at any time.

At around 11 pm in May. 14, a couple entered the park.

Unaware that they were caught on the park's livestream, the pair began to engage in sexual activities at around 1am.

According to the Taipei Times, the man in the video has been identified by the police and summoned for questioning.

The Shihlin Police Precinct in Taipei added that the man could be charged with public indecency.

If found guilty, he could face a year in prison and an NT$9,000 (S$ 366.79) fine.

The park authorities also warned visitors to respect public spaces and obey the law, following the couple's actions.

The video has since been taken down, and redistributing the video would be a crime, the park added.

The incident has gone viral in Taiwan, with many flocking to the exact location.

All these incidents were caught on the park's livestream and have since been shared on social media.
