Man, 35, arrested after getting confronted at Jurong Point Timezone arcade

A 35-year-old man was arrested after he was seen getting confronted at the Timezone arcade in Jurong Point.

According to a video posted on Apr. 26, the incident took place on Apr. 25 at around 7pm.

A man, dressed in blue and wearing fingerless gloves, could be seen being confronted by two other people in black.

A long-haired woman appeared to be standing next to them.

The man in blue could be seen arguing with the other two people while waving an object.

Due to the noise, the conversation between the trio could not be made out.

The caption of the video claimed that the man had allegedly assaulted the woman at the booth of "Wangan Midnight", a Japanese street racing arcade game.

When confronted, the man claimed that he did not do anything, the caption added.

Police were called to the scene.

In response to Mothership’s queries, the police said they received a call for assistance at 7:15pm on Apr. 25 at 1 Jurong West Central 2, the address of Jurong Point.

No injuries were reported.

The man was arrested for public nuisance.

Police investigations are ongoing.
