A substitute teacher in Texas, U.S., was arrested by the Sheriff's Office for an alleged improper relationship with a student.
According to a Facebook post by the Sheriff's Office, the independent school district removed Angela Palmares, 27, from their list of available substitutes.
Investigators conducted interviews and collected evidence, which led to the issuance of an arrest warrant for Palmares.
Palmares was located in Bell County and taken into custody without incident.
She has been charged with an improper relationship between an educator and a student, a second-degree felony.
According to The New York Post, she was being held on a S$150,000 bond.
She was arrested after school officials notified police about "inappropriate communication with students", the superintendent of the school district said in a letter to families.
The New York Post said there had been no confirmation on how many students were affected or how old they were.
The superintendent said they could not provide more information due to personnel and student privacy.
