WhatsappThe two horses that were spotted trotting casually around Pasir Ris on the morning of Mar. 3 are now back in their stables.

A vet has also assessed them to be in "great shape", the stable, Gallop Stable said in a TikTok post.

Horsing around

Multiple videos shared by Pasir Ris residents on Mar. 3 showed the two equines prancing around various parts of Pasir Ris on the last day of the Lunar New Year.

They were seen heading down a park connector, passing cars on the road, visiting a landed property estate and finally being taken into custody.

One video submitted by a Mothership reader featured a man telling a brown horse "stay!" as it strolled down Elias View.

The same horse was later seen surrounded by police cars and uniformed officers, with a red rope attached to its neck.

In response to Mothership's queries, the Singapore Police Force said worked with stable staff to safely secure the horses, which were "subsequently returned to their stables without incident."

The Animal Veterinary Service (AVS) also confirmed the horses were secured by handlers from Gallop Stable and the organisation is investigating the incident.
