Man tries to rob M'sia goldsmith store with knife, gets shot by security guard & dies
He struggled and injured a security guard before another guard shot him twice.
A man was shot dead while he attempted to rob a goldsmith store in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, on Mar. 16.
Armed with a knife and riding a motorcycle, the man reportedly arrived at the store at 11am, reported New Straits Times.

In a video posted to Facebook, the alleged robber could be seen surrounded by police before losing consciousness.

No jewellery was reported missing.
Alleged robber pronounced dead
According to The Star, no customers were present as the store had just opened for business.
In a statement, Malaysia police said the alleged robber was pronounced dead at Universiti Malaya Medical Centre at 11:53am.

A post-mortem will be carried out on Mar. 17.
The case will be investigated under Sections 392/397 of Malaysia's Penal Code for armed robbery and Section 39 of the Arms Act.
