HK actress Jessica Hsuan brings former helper, 102, out to celebrate CNY Eve

Hong Kong actress Jessica Hsuan recently spent time with a special person during the festive season.

According to a Feb. 16, 2026, Instagram post, she brought her former helper, aged 102, out to celebrate Chinese New Year's Eve.

Hsuan wrote in her post: "A happy Chinese New Year's Eve! Moving from 102 to 103."

The pair can be seen in the first image together, with her elderly helper, Ying Jie, giving a thumbs up.

In the second image, her helper can be seen eating ice cream.

Prior to this, Hsuan had picked up the elderly helper from a nursing home in Hong Kong, The Straits Times reported.

Hsuan, 55, is noted to treat her former helper like a family member, as Ying had cared for her like a daughter for many years.

In another Instagram post in 2024, Hsuan thanked Ying for "loving and raising" her, saying she was not sure how she would have turned out without her.

In response to the post, many netizens commented that the elderly helper appeared to be in good spirits.

They also wished her good health and a happy New Year.
