4 teens, aged 13, investigated for throwing plastic bag filled with clear liquid at people near Waterway Point

They also threw an empty plastic bottle.

Four 13-year-old teenagers are assisting police with investigations over their suspected involvement in two separate cases of rash acts.

In a news release on Feb. 23, police said they were alerted to an incident at the park connectors near Punggol Waterway Point at about 12:15am on Dec. 19, 2025.

The teenagers allegedly threw a plastic bag containing a clear liquid and an empty plastic bottle towards members of the public.

In a separate incident at about 12:20am on Dec. 22, 2025, officers discovered several traffic cones placed across three lanes along Punggol Drive, obstructing vehicular traffic.

Following investigations, officers from the Ang Mo Kio Division have established the identities of four teenagers believed to be involved in the incidents.

The youths are currently assisting with investigations.

Under Section 336(a) of the Penal Code, the offence of committing a rash act carries a penalty of up to six months’ jail and a fine.

Police said they take a serious view of acts that endanger life or personal safety, adding that they will take firm action against offenders in accordance with the law.
