Police searching for male suspect who trespassed Upper Thomson house while female homeowner present

The police are looking for a male suspect who allegedly trespassed into a house in an Upper Thomson private estate on the night of Feb. 21.
According to Lianhe Zaobao, the suspect apparently entered the home while the female homeowner was present.
She reportedly screamed and the man ran away.
The woman called the police immediately, according to The Straits Times.
In response to Mothership's queries, the police said they received a call for assistance at a residential estate at Marigold Drive on Feb. 21 at around 9:40pm.
Upon arrival, officers established that an individual had allegedly entered the residence without permission and left prior to police arrival.
Efforts to trace suspect are underway
Zaobao reported that no one was injured and no property was lost.
A man who claimed to be the female homeowner's friend told Zaobao that the suspect is believed to have climbed over the wall and into the house's backyard.
ST reported that five Special Operations Command police vehicles were seen on Upper Thomson Road at 11:20pm on the night of the incident.
The police said that efforts to trace the suspect are underway, and investigations are ongoing.
The police advised members of the public who have information relating to this incident to contact them on 1800-255-0000, or submit information online.

Residents are also advised to remain vigilant and report suspicious behaviour or people to the police immediately.
