Rumours Beach Club, located along Siloso Beach in Sentosa, has closed after it welcomed its last guests on Jan. 4, 2026.
It had announced the closure on Instagram on Jan. 1.
"What began as a dream became a place filled with laughter, music, sunsets, and unforgettable memories," the Instagram post read.
The establishment thanked its patrons and shared that the final day of operation will be on Jan. 4.
The reason for closure was not stated.
The announcement was met with an outpouring of gratitude and sadness from users.
Many also made one final visit to the beach club and shared about their experience on Instagram.
The beach club recently celebrated its sixth anniversary with an event on Dec. 6, 2025.
Information on Rumours Beach Club is no longer available on the Sentosa website at the time of writing.
Responding to queries from Mothership, Rumours Beach Club shared that there was no specific reason for its closure.
"Everything and everyone were very well and supportive," its spokesperson said.
The spokesperson noted that it was a a "wavy six years", but the support received made Rumours a "memorable Singapore beach club destination in Sentosa".
"We hope to be able to welcome everyone again in the future," the spokesperson added.
