Bullet casings were found in the premises.
A man was fatally shot at a fast food restaurant in Banting, a town in the Malaysian state of Selangor, on Jan. 4.
According to videos circulating on social media, it happened at a McDonald's outlet.

The victim was identified as a man in his late thirties.
He had allegedly been dining at the premises at the time of the incident, Malay Mail reported.

There was blood on his neck and on the ground around him.
At least two bullet casings were found inside the outlet, as seen in a separate video.

Manhunt
The police are searching for a suspect who fled the scene on a motorcycle.
"The motive and suspects involved in the incident are still under investigation," the district police chief said.
The Malaysian police have previously said that shootings in the country are isolated and often targeted.
However, such incidents have raised concerns about public safety and organised crime, according to Malay Mail.
