M'sian man, 30, jailed for flashing boy, 15, in Senja Hawker Centre toilet
The boy was returning home from school and dropped by the hawker centre to use the toilet.
A 30-year-old Malaysian man was sentenced to four weeks’ jail on Jan. 8 for exposing himself to a 15-year-old boy in a hawker centre toilet in Bukit Panjang.
Victim was returning home from school
According to court documents seen by Mothership, Logeswaran Raja Kumaran intentionally exposed his genitals to the victim without his consent, intending that the boy would see them.
The victim was a 15-year-old student who had been returning home from school and was wearing a Boys’ Brigade uniform when the incident took place at about 9pm on Nov. 14, 2025.
He had alighted at Senja Hawker Centre as he needed to use the toilet, where he noticed the accused standing between the male and female restrooms as he approached.
Accused followed victim into the toilet
Logeswaran then followed the boy into the male toilet as he was aroused and wanted to expose himself to the victim.
At some point while Logeswaran and the boy were alone in the toilet, the accused exposed his genitals to the boy.
The accused then stroked his genitals in view of the victim.
Feeling uncomfortable, the boy moved to a cubicle to complete urinating.
After the victim left the cubicle, he took two photographs of the accused.
Logeswaran tried to ask him why he did so, but the boy did not respond.
The victim subsequently made a police report at about 9:46pm when he left the toilet, providing one of the photographs that he took to the police.
The accused was then arrested on that same day at about 11:54pm.
Sentencing
The prosecution initially sought a sentence of about five to six weeks’ imprisonment, highlighting that Logeswaran did not merely expose himself but also stroked his genitals in the presence of the victim, who was a youth.
The prosecution also added that Logeswaran would have known the victim was a youth as the boy was wearing his Boys’ Brigade uniform, yet he still targeted him.
After taking into account Logeswaran's early guilty plea, the prosecution proposed a sentence of about four weeks' imprisonment, which the court imposed.
