Seven foreign women have been detained in Johor following a coordinated operation targeting alleged immoral activities at several apartments.

According to Malaysian news outlet The Star, the operation was carried out simultaneously at multiple locations across Johor at 9pm on Dec. 30, 2025.

Johor Immigration director Mohd Rusdi Mohd Darus said the raids were conducted after receiving complaints from the public and following intelligence surveillance.
