Man, 73, fractures throat & dies in hospital: Police take man, 57, back to Woodlands food court toilet
He was questioned in the public toilet for about an hour.
A 57-year-old man was taken back to the crime scene at the Fork & Spoon food court in Woodlands Mart on Dec. 26.
Teo Eng Chye was charged with causing grievous hurt to a 73-year-old man, Foo Suan Chew.
The two men allegedly fought on Dec. 21.
Foo subsequently died in hospital.
His thyroid cartilage, the area around his throat, was fractured.
The victim was initially found unconscious at the food court and taken to the hospital.
Questioned at public toilet
The accused was taken back to Woodlands in a police car at about 10:40am on Friday.
Teo's wrists and ankles were restrained and he wore a face mask.
He was brought back to the food court and to a table in a corner.

Members of the public were seen observing the proceedings.
Teo was then brought to the toilet, where the altercation was understood to have taken place.
The dispute allegedly escalated into a scuffle.

Investigators spent about an hour questioning Teo there.
If found guilty of causing grievous hurt, Teo could be jailed for up to 10 years and caned, as well as fined.
The case will be heard again on Dec. 30.
