EZ-Link app to be discontinued from Jan. 8, 2026, features to be integrated into SimplyGo

The EZ-Link app will be discontinued on Jan. 8, 2026, according to a Lianhe Zaobao report.

It cited an email sent to users reminding them of the upcoming change.

According to SimplyGo's website, the EZ-Link app has been progressively phased out since Dec. 10, 2025.

Existing EZ-Link app users will need to perform a one-time sync to migrate their account information to the SimplyGo app.
