A 24-year-old man was conveyed unconscious to the hospital, where he subsequently passed away.

'Heard a loud bang': Eyewitness
An eyewitness told Mothership that he was at his friend's house nearby when he heard a loud bang followed by shouts.
Pictures shared with Mothership showed a man in a blue uniform lying on the road next to a fallen gate.
Another man dressed in a blue uniform, believed to be the worker's colleague, was seen calling for help.
The colleague also attempted to perform cardio-pulmonary resuscitation on the fallen worker, the eyewitness said.
After the incident, police and MOM officials were seen at the scene, the eyewitness added.
SCDF said that the man was conveyed to Changi General Hospital.
However, he succumbed to his injuries there.
Authorities investigating
"As a general safety measure, workers should not attempt to manually lift or realign heavy gates or mechanical fixtures without adequate mechanical assistance and proper method statements," said the MOM spokesperson.
The spokesperson also reminded employers to ensure that workers are provided with the necessary training, supervision, safe work procedures, and appropriate equipment to carry out repair and maintenance work safely.
