A three-car chain collision along Airport Boulevard has sent two people to the hospital, including a one-year-old boy.

In response to Mothership's queries, the police said they were alerted to the accident at about 8:20pm on Nov. 16.

A 34-year-old woman and a one-year-old boy, both car passengers, were conveyed conscious to the hospital.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said a third person was assessed for minor injuries, but declined to be sent to the hospital.

The aftermath

A Facebook user shared photos of the aftermath, saying that the accident happened on the route from Changi Airport's Terminal 3 towards the city.

According to the user, one of the cars involved in the collision was a private-hire vehicle (PHV).

A photo shows the rear of a white car badly damaged, with its bumper and lights broken off.

Other photos appear to show traffic congestion on the road around 8:35pm, likely due to the accident.

Police investigations are ongoing.

Just two weeks before, on Nov. 2, another pile-up occurred along Airport Boulevard.

Four cars collided into each other, sending two men to the hospital.
