Lorry skids on road behind Tangs Plaza in Orchard, gets stuck on slope
You can't park there, sir.
A lorry that got into an accident on Nov. 17 in a residential estate in Orchard near Tangs Plaza ended up stuck at the bottom of a grassy slope.
Police told Mothership that they were alerted to the accident on at about 4:35pm.
The accident involved a lorry that had skidded along the Jalan Jintan junction of Nutmeg Road, police said.
Nutmeg Road is a landed estate in the Orchard area that runs from Mount Elizabeth Hospital to the Grand Hyatt Singapore.
The 44-year-old male lorry driver sustained minor injuries from the accident but refused to be sent to the hospital.
Police investigations are ongoing.
Aftermath
The aftermath of the accident was captured in a video shared to TikTok the same day.
It showed a green lorry at the bottom of a grassy slope behind Tangs Plaza and Scotts Square.
The lorry had the word "Healthcare" printed on its exterior.
Two security personnel were at the scene, along with a police vehicle.
A crowd of people had also gathered at a nearby building to see what was going on.
The video was captioned, "Sorry sir, you can't park there."
