Man crashes car into bus & flees from police on foot in Telok Blangah

The police are searching for a man who crashed his car into the back of a bus in Telok Blangah before fleeing on foot on Nov. 4 morning.

In response to Mothership's queries, the police said officers were patrolling in Telok Blangah Drive at around 8:30am when they spotted a car that had mounted a kerb.

Footage of the incident showed the red car being driven off as police officers were checking on the driver.

The car was then seen going over the kerb in an apparent attempt to evade the police.

Car crashed into bus

Another clip then showed the red car on a two-lane road.

It swerved between lanes before crashing into the back of a public bus.

Smoke was seen coming out of the bonnet of the car.

According to the police, the red car had collided with two other cars, a van, and a bus before coming to a stop.

Man fleeing on foot

The next clip showed a heavily tattooed man in a black t-shirt and white shorts and slippers getting out of the red car and running along Henderson Road into Telok Blangah Green.

He was apparently holding on to an object in his right hand.

He frequently looked back as he was apparently aware he was being filmed.

Vape found in car

An e-vaporiser was later found in the car, the police said, adding that the offence will be referred to the Health Sciences Authority.

Authorities are currently looking for the driver.

A 48-year-old male motorist was conveyed conscious to Singapore General Hospital.

Efforts to trace the man who fled are underway.

Investigations are ongoing.
