At least S$6,000 has been lost to Blackpink concert ticket scams on social media and messaging platforms since October 2025, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) said in a Nov. 20 press release.

The K-pop group will be performing in Singapore on Nov. 28, 29 and 30 as part of their latest world tour.

Scam

Since October 2025, at least 11 reports have been lodged in relation to Blackpink's upcoming concert, SPF said.

Victims would come across offers for the sale of concert tickets on messaging or social media platforms such as Telegram, Carousell, Xiaohongshu, Facebook and TikTok.

Scammers would provide screenshots or videos of fake tickets or receipts to convince victims of their authenticity.

They would pressure victims to make payment quickly by suggesting that the sale was time-sensitive or limited in quantity.

Victims would only realise that they had been scammed when the tickets were not delivered or when the seller became uncontactable.

When victims claimed that they did not receive their concert tickets after payment, the scammers would claim that they did not receive the initial payment and ask for additional payment.

Tickets cannot be resold or transferred

SPF advised the public to only purchase Blackpink concert tickets from the authorised ticketing platform, Ticketmaster.

These tickets cannot be transferred or resold and those who are found to have purchased resale tickets will be turned away at the door.

Additionally, SPF reminded that Ticketmaster tickets are only issued around two weeks prior to the event, and only to an individual's Ticketmaster account — never via email.

"Members of the public should also be wary of resellers claiming to be able to transfer their tickets to your Ticketmaster account after purchase, as the tickets are strictly not transferrable," SPF reiterated.
