When another commuter dropped his drink all over the floor of an MRT carriage, one man did a selfless act to help clean it up.
Sharing on Facebook, user Julie Tan said she witnessed the act on Oct. 26 at around 11:17am while travelling on the North-South Line from Bukit Gombak to Jurong East.
Apparently, a commuter spilled his drink all over the train carriage floor.
One young man sprang into action and used a spare t-shirt he had in his bag, and began to mop up the spilt drink.
Tan added that no one else in the carriage tried to help or seemed to notice the spilt drink.
"I'm sharing with you to commend this young fella's excellent and exceptional civic consciousness," she wrote.
