China man apologises to wife, who cheated on him with 8 men, for checking her phone, begs for 2nd chance after she demands divorce

A man in China is pleading to reconcile with his wife even after discovering her infidelity.

Sin Chew Daily reported that this included his wife flirting with eight men in three months and checking into a hotel with one man.

Suspicions

The man, Zhang, had recently noticed his wife behaving strangely, so he decided to check her phone.

She disagreed, and this led to a fight.

Once Zhang snatched her phone and checked it, he found out that she was cheating on him with eight people.

Some of the messages included her calling many of these eight men "husband".

His wife had even met some of them in person, having initiated some of the meetups herself.

According to local media, the man said he didn't want to think about whether his wife had done anything inappropriate with them.

Divorce

According to a media video published on Oct. 20, Zhang asked her, "Why was she doing this?".

She responded that she wanted a divorce.

The couple have three daughters together.

Had cheated before

This was not the first time his wife had cheated on him.

A while back, his father had discovered that his daughter-in-law was cheating.

Zhang, who was working far from home, had beaten her due to her infidelity.

Back then, his wife had begged him not to divorce her.

His wife had even written a letter of guarantee that she would not cheat again.

Plead for reconciliation

While Zhang was stung by this round of cheating, he still wants to reconcile with her.

He lost contact with his wife after she ran away and is unable to locate her.

In the video, Zhang apologised and said he was wrong for checking her phone.

He turned to face the camera and told his wife, "Our little daughter misses her mother. You don't have to work. We will all support you.

"If you want to come back, I will forgive you. Come back soon, we will be waiting for you."
