Boy, 9, crosses road in Bugis on kick scooter, gets hit by taxi
Taxi had right of way.

A nine-year-old boy crossing the road in Bugis on a kick scooter was hit by a taxi on Oct. 13.
He was injured.
The police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force said they were alerted to the accident along Middle Road towards Nicoll Highway at about 2.40pm on Monday.
The boy was taken conscious to KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
A video of the incident was posted on Roads.sg on Oct. 13.
The boy was riding across the pedestrian crossing on a kick scooter when the ComfortDelGro taxi had right of way as the traffic lights were in its favour.
The boy appeared to have been thrown forward a few metres after the taxi hit him.
Commenters on the video said it was fortunate that there was dashcam footage of the incident to exonerate the taxi driver.
Police investigations are ongoing.
