M'sia woman shares heartbreaking final video of her dressing up daughter, 3, who died in car crash later that day
The woman uploaded a series of videos to remember her daughter after the fatal accident.
A woman's three-year-old daughter died on Aug. 24 in a car crash in Malaysia.
Three days later on Aug. 27, she uploaded a TikTok video tying her daughter's hair.
"Mommy didn't get to give you your final bath, didn’t get to send you to your new home.
Mommy had already dressed you up beautifully that morning to come home and see Yayah (a pet name for her father). Never expected that to be the last "touch-up" Mommy would do for you.
Thank you, my love, for the meaningful three years. Mommy and Yayah love you, our beautiful baby girl!"
Joyous occasion turned tragedy
Chempaka Alara Azizi and her mother Amelia Kartika Mappatata were attending a wedding banquet in Malacca on Aug. 24.
After the wedding, the mother and daughter were riding in a Perodua Myvi car.
When they were 142km away from the Kuantan to Seremban section near the indigenous village of Bukit Serek, their car collided with a four-wheel drive vehicle.
Around five minutes before the accident, Chempaka had talked to her father on the phone.
She was sitting in the back seat of the car when the accident happened.
Fatal accident
Though Amelia survived with fractures, Chempaka died in Kuantan General Hopsital.
According to a YouTube video by The Star, the accident left three dead and four others injured.
Sin Chew Daily reported that an 18-year-old was also among those who died in the accident.
