32-layered tissue bread, buttery croissants & more at Korean bakery TOUS les JOURS’ 3rd outlet in Orchard
Very délicieux.
Do you ever get those days when you're hungry but not quite hungry enough for a full meal?
I’d have to admit, I get those days often.
I find myself craving something light, maybe some baked goods or fruits, to satisfy that in-between hunger.
So, when I was in the mood for a little snack, I decided to check out the latest TOUS les JOURS outlet together with my colleagues.
Originally established in South Korea in 1997, TOUS les JOURS now has over 1700 outlets worldwide, including Singapore.
The bakery specialises in French-inspired bread and pastries, baked daily in-house.
Good vibes all around
Some of you might already be familiar with TOUS les JOURS' first outlet at Northpoint City in Yishun and their second one at Bukit Pasoh Road.
This latest outlet is located right in the heart of Singapore, at the new basement in TANGS at Tang Plaza.

Despite being in Orchard, I found it cosy and welcoming — perfect for a relaxed hangout with friends after shopping or a casual date.
When we reached the newly renovated mall, I was pleasantly surprised by the bakery’s convenient location right near the entrance on the basement level.

We quickly grabbed seats and got to selecting from their wide selection of baked goods.
Filling our stomach

You’ve probably seen the 32-layered Tissue Bread (S$5) blowing up in Korea, and now I totally get the hype.
At first glance, it looks like your average loaf.
But pull it apart and boom: each fluffy, buttery layer practically melts in your mouth.
We demolished the entire loaf in record time.
Next up, I tried the Buttermelt Croissant (S$3.30), and it didn’t disappoint.
It was light, crispy on the outside, and soft, airy on the inside.

My colleague, Alena, is our resident sweet potato fan.
Naturally, she grabbed the Sweet Potato Bread (S$2.80), which looked like a sweet potato, had generous sweet potato filling, and was covered with sweet potato powder.

Paired with a Green Tea Frappé (S$7.40) and an Iced Café Latte (S$5.50), it was the perfect afternoon pick-me-up.
To finish off, we shared the Signature Mascarpone Tiramisu Piece Cake (S$8).
Rich, creamy mascarpone, just the right amount of espresso, and a dusting of cocoa on top. It was the perfect sweet ending.

I know I said I wasn’t quite hungry, but I couldn’t help myself.
Sharing the love
We loved everything so much that we bought more pastries to share with our colleagues.

One of my colleagues got his hands on the Twist Donut (S$2.50), which he said had a “good amount of sugar” with a light and nice bread texture.
Another tried the Frankfurt Sausage Roll (S$2.50), which had a delicious Frankfurt sausage inside a soft bun.
No complaints from the said colleague. I guess it didn’t become one of TOUS les JOURS’ bestsellers for nothing.

My colleague Gulshan went adventurous and tried the K-Red Bean Bread (S$2.50), despite it being her first time trying red bean paste.
After just one bite, she became a fan.

One colleague took the Premium Pastry Egg Tart (S$3.30) and popped it in an air fryer for a quick reheat.
The verdict? The pastry crust was one of the best they'd ever had, and the surprise layer of caramel sauce under the custard stole the show.
Alena also tried the Goguma Mammoth Bread (S$3.50), which came stuffed with a dreamy combo of sweet butter cream, red bean paste, and chunky sweet potato.
