Demon Slayer voice actor Takahiro Sakurai in S'pore for movie premiere on Aug. 11
He is the voice of Giyu Tomioka, the Water Hashira from the anime franchise.
Good news, Demon Slayer fans.
Takahiro Sakurai, who voices Giyu Tomioka (Water Hashira) from the anime franchise, will be making an appearance in Singapore this August.
The Japanese voice actor is set to attend the first overseas premiere of "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle".
The premiere will be held at the Shaw Theatres Lido on Aug. 11.
Ahead of the premiere, fans can look forward to a red carpet event where Sakurai will be making a special appearance and interact with attendees.
With over three decades of voice acting under his belt, Sakurai is known for voicing a range of iconic characters including Suguru Geto in Jujutsu Kaisen and Cloud Strife in Final Fantasy VII.
"Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle" marks the latest installment in the anime franchise movie trilogy.
Demon Slayer-themed installations
To celebrate the premiere, there will also be various Demon Slayer-themed installations scattered around Shaw Urban Plaza.
Highlights include a giant inflatable figure of Tanjiro and immersive replica of the Infinity Castle.

The installations will be there from now till Aug. 28.
