2 passers-by take turns to perform CPR on man who collapsed at Jurong Lake Gardens
The man was later conveyed to hospital.
A man at Jurong Lake Garden was given CPR by two passers-by after he collapsed on the evening of Aug. 22.
In response to Mothership's query the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) replied that they received a call for assistance at 70 Yuan Ching Road at around 7:30pm on Aug. 22.
The man was later conveyed to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.

The user who uploaded the video to Xiaohongshu told 8WorldNews that he had been riding his bicycle at Jurong Lake Gardens at about 8pm when he came across the scene.
The two passers-by took turns to perform CPR on him and someone also offered an automated external defibrillator (AED).
Why this matters?
According to SCDF, every second of rescue matters.
The chances of survival decreased by up to 10 per cent every minute for a person who suffers from cardiac arrest.
Immediate rescue with CPR or AED can boost survival rates to as high as 60 per cent.
Positive reactions
Several Xiaohongshu users reacted with amazement at the scene, with one of them noting that many people in Singapore appeared to have been trained in performing CPR.
