Woman in China allegedly pushed by staff while preparing to bungee jump, bleeds from face, suffers concussion

A woman suffered a concussion and bled from her face and mouth after bungee jumping in Hangzhou, China.
Photos and videos of the aftermath of the incident showed the extent of her injuries.
The incident occurred at Huma Adventure Park on Jun. 27, according to local news outlets.

The woman claimed that when she closed her eyes and was prepared to jump, she was suddenly pushed by a staff member.
She then felt her face become wet, and learned that she was bleeding afterwards.
The woman also felt dizzy, nauseous, and had trouble eating, with the doctor diagnosing her with a concussion.

The woman said she has asked the adventure sport provider about insurance coverage, but the park only provided a waiver agreement.
In response to media queries by local news outlets on Jul. 2, the park said it had contacted the woman’s mother, who subsequently alerted the police.
The authorities then intervened in the investigation.
The park added that it will continue to liaise with the family on follow-up matters and stressed that it will not shirk from its responsibilities.
