A teen was spotted vaping and allegedly abusing Kpods near Junction 8 in Bishan.

A passer-by, who goes by the name Collin Wee on Facebook, posted about the incident in Complaint Singapore.

The teen had been attempting to cross the overhead bridge opposite Junction 8 on the evening of Jul. 16, but "had problems walking", Wee said.

He also purportedly took hits on his vape along the way.

As he continued along the bridge, he limped and began to convulse, and dropped his phone and vape.

He also acted aggressively with a young man who tried to help him pick up his belongings, Wee told Mothership.

Police called

Fortunately, a woman came to his assistance and helped him down the stairs.

But when he was almost at the ground level, he began to vape again.

Wee said he and a few other passers-by called the police to report the case.

An ambulance and a police car subsequently arrived at the scene to attend to the teen, he said.

Wee said that he believed it was a case of Kpod abuse, not regular vaping, as the teen behaved strangely in a "zombie-like" fashion.

He decided to report the case as Kpods are "killing the kids of Singapore".

In response to Mothership's queries, the Singapore Civil Defence Force confirmed that it had received a call for assistance that night.

One person was conveyed to KK Women's and Children's Hospital.

Mothership has also reached out to the Health Sciences Authority for more information.
