S'porean woman, 19, allegedly sold & advertised illegal vapes on WhatsApp, 7 found in Jurong West flat

A Singaporean woman, 19, has been charged after she allegedly sold and advertised illegal vapes on WhatsApp.

Albee Chai also allegedly possessed seven vapes found in a Jurong West flat.

She was accused of committing the offences between August and December 2024, according to charge sheets seen by Mothership.

She would have been 18 years old at the time when some of her offences were allegedly committed.

In Singapore, it is illegal to possess, sell, use, buy, distribute, or advertise for vapes.

For illegal possession of vapes, Chai could be fined up to S$2,000.

If found guilty of illegally distributing, importing, or selling vapes or their components, she could be jailed up to six months and fined up to S$10,000.
