The two-year-old Iranian toddler who was brutally thrown on the ground by a Belarusian man at a Moscow Airport on Jun. 23, 2025 is out of intensive care.
According to Russian media, the child was transferred out of the emergency department and can already sit without support.
The child's condition is currently considered stable.
He is reportedly able to understand speech, follow simple instructions, and has moved away from tube feeding.
Doctors are continuing therapy sessions for the child.
Attempted murder
Vladimir Vityukov, the perpetrator who caused these injuries to the child, is currently under arrest in Russia. He was reportedly on drugs.
He faces up to 15 years in jail on an attempted murder charge.
Local media reported that the man had been behaving "inappropriately" at the airport prior to the incident.
