Over 1.5 million eligible S'poreans to get S$450 or S$850 cash from Aug. 6, 2025

Over 1.5 million eligible adult Singaporeans will receive up to S$850 in cash as part of the GST Voucher disbursement from Aug. 6, 2025.

Additionally, approximately 690,000 eligible Singaporean seniors will receive up to S$450 in MediSave top-ups, which will be automatically credited to their CPF MediSave Accounts.

Eligible recipients will receive their payments starting from Aug. 6 2025.

The Ministry of Finance also announced on Jul. 7 that the assessable income threshold has been increased from S$34,000 to S$39,000, effective from August 2025, noting that the incomes of lower- and middle-income Singaporeans have improved,

GSTV- Cash

For the 2025 cash payout, those eligible are:

• Singapore citizen residing in Singapore
• Aged 21 and above in 2025
• Assessable income for year of assessment 2024 must not exceed S$39,000
• Annual value of home does not exceed S$31,000 as of Dec. 31, 2024
• Does not own more than one property

GSTV - Medisave

For the MediSave top-ups, those eligible are:

• Singaporean seniors aged 65 and above in 2025, residing in Singapore
• Does not own more than one property
• Annual value of home not exceeding S$31,000 as of Dec. 31, 2024.
