S'pore Pools starts new Toto Match bet, win S$50 by picking 2 matching Toto numbers

Singapore Pools is launching a new fixed-bet game called Toto Match starting with its Jun. 12 draw.

The company said on Jun. 3 that the launch was in “response to consumer preferences for a fixed-payout model in the Toto game” and there has been a growing interest in fixed odds-style games.

It is also to dissuade punters from turning to illegal operators.

Sales for Toto Match will start from Jun. 10 at all Singapore Pools branches and authorised retail outlets.

What is Toto Match?

Toto Match differs from the traditional Toto game.

Instead of punters winning a jackpot prize, Toto Match pays out a fixed prize amount per dollar bet.

This means that a bigger payout can be won with a higher bet.

How it works

Punters can place bets under two game types.

First type of bet

The first type of bet requires the picking of between two and four numbers from one to 49.

A win occurs when all the selected numbers are included in the six winning numbers for that particular Toto draw.

For every dollar bet, punters can win S$50 for two matched numbers, S$500 for three matched numbers, and S$7,000 for four matched numbers.

Second type of bet

In the second type of bet, punters can choose one number from one to 49.

If the number chosen matches the additional number for that Toto draw, they win S$30 for every dollar bet.

To win, the punter must make a Toto Match bet.

A normal Toto bet will not qualify for a prize.
