Samuel Lee resigns from PPP
He looked left, looked right, for a career path. But it wasn't in the PPP.
Samuel Lee, who stood as the People's Power Party's (PPP) candidate in Ang Mo Kio GRC in GE2025, has resigned from the party.
In a May 27 post on social media, Lee said that he had resigned a few days earlier on May 23.
He will "pursue new opportunities", while continuing with his activism and advocacy work, he said.
"I am grateful for the lessons learnt and wish PPP well in its future."

Other paths?
Lee went viral during the GE2025 campaign period for his adapted rendition of the Mandarin-language song, "I'm Just A Tiny Tiny Bird".

It is popularly known on social media now as the "look left look right" song, and goes like this:
"I look left look right, look left look right, for a career path. Is this a request considered too high?"
While Lee did not mention what career path he would be looking for next, he has previously appeared in a TikTok video for an interior design company.
In the ad, he sang about "looking left and right" in search of a trustworthy interior designer.
