Male pedestrian, 84, dies after collision with minibus in Choa Chu Kang
The driver was arrested for careless driving causing death.
An 84-year-old male pedestrian died at the scene after an accident with a minibus at the junction of Choa Chu Kang Avenue 1 and Choa Chu Kang Central on Monday morning, May 26.
The police said they were alerted to the accident at around 6:15am.
A 53-year-old male minibus driver was arrested for careless driving causing death.
Police investigations are ongoing.
Aftermath
Footage of the aftermath of the incident was shared on the SG Road Vigilante Facebook group.
The video showed a blue tent behind a minivan, along with several police vehicles at the scene.
A man also appeared to be speaking to police officers.
